Not sure what to say?

Mr.Buchan,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family.

To the Buchan Family,

Although I have not met Robert Buchan, I feel for the Buchan family loss as I know of the close family bond that they have. My Uncle John, Robert's brother, is a testament to the strong Buchan roots, the generous spirit and strong family values of the Buchan clan. I am sure that Mr. Buchan will be sadly missed but leaves many loving memories. God bless. Cindy Lalonde and Warren Eyers.

I have many fond memories of my brother-in-law Bob-- such a sweet, soft-spoken man, always jovial and full of fun. John and I always enjoyed Bob and Joan's visits. We loved to reminisce. I can honestly say I don't know a more generous person than Bob. We all will miss him.

Uncle Bob,
Such sad news to hear of your passing. Victor and I enjoyed our visit to Ottawa and hearing your wonderful stories including the courting of Auntie Joan. My father will miss your love and brotherly support, as it ment so much to him. The example you set in life, and the love you shared with family and friends just proves what a wonder person you are. Auntie Joan do not be sad, reflect and enjoy in the wonderful memories you shared with Bob. Please know few people have...

I was shocked and saddened when my Mum (Billie Malloch) called to say Bob had passed away. Mum and Dad (Cam) were friends with Bob and Joan for many many years. The standard line around our place was that if anything needed fixing-- call Bob. And we did! And he fixed it!

It seemed there was nothing Bob was not good at. And one of the thing he was best at was humility. For all his talent and for all that he gave so many people, he was always just Bob-- no fuss, no pretensions, no...

Dear Joan, Gordon, Bob and families,
Rick and I send you our love and condolences. We have such wonderful memories of Bob, beginning with I as a child in 1948 visiting the farm for the first time, and listening to Aunt Katie tell me about Bob and his bride from England, and showing me the house that was being built (--by Bob??). Ah, that was sooo-oo romantic to a young teenager. And then, after I married: Rick, along with me , enjoyed Bob’s congeniality, his interesting...

I only met Bob & Joan a few times when they came over here to the UK , to meet with Joan's family ( Joan is my father Ted's sister ). However I have very happy memories of taking Bob to Scotland to visit the area his ancesters came from - in particular I remember him as a happy and jovial man , full of fun. I am sure he will be sorely missed by all his large family and friends and , on behalf of all the family and friends this side of the pond , our thoughts are with Joan , Bob jnr , Gordon...

To the family of Buchan
I will always see Bob Buchan and Joan at the family reunions trying to help piece together the long and precarious past with the present threads which have bound us,whether on big cardboard or computer. His humor kept me going, his hospitality and family stories let me know I had missed a great deal by not living in this Canada country and so experience my heritage better. He will be missed. Love, Joan and family of Westcott and Unfricht

Mike & Hun would like to send our condolences to the Buchan family.
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. John & Nancy always spoke so fondly of Bob & Joan. He will be sadly missed by all. Sincerely Hun & Mike.
