Read MoreI served with Buggs while he was attached to VA105. He was my friend and I loved him. He provided support to me when I was going through a divorce with my beautiful wife and friend Margaret Holloway in 1972. He was a wonderful person. I spoke with him often over the years. I will miss him.

I'm not really sure how to say all this on paper. Daddy, I love you with all my heart, and I couldn't have asked for a better father than what I had. You were my HERO and my Best Friend. I'm going to miss you , but you will always be in my heart and my soul. I know that you are looking down on me and keeping me safe. He was a great father to all of us. Debbie, Lynne, Jennifer, Randy and myself Renee. A great paw-paw also. All 12 grandchildren. WE ALL LOVE YOU!
