my first memory of Bobby was when i was about 14/15 yrs. i was walking down warren terrace in longmeadow, when bobby was driving his red olds, cigar hanging out of his mouth. he was on his way to see donna and asked if i wanted a ride home..it was easy to see why donna was smitten with him. his huge smile. another time , 6 yrs later when my father died suddenly, bobby drove dorothy and me to UMass to tell our brother,john,Dad had died.Bobby stood so quietly when we told him.
