Not sure what to say?

I had the grand pleasure of working with Dr. Burney in Wiesbaden Germany. As a Speech Language Pathologist one of the most memorable cases of my career was in conjunction with Dr. Burney. He was an amazing person...a very good Physician , a great educator and just such fun to be around. I was sorry to read of his passing.

Dr. Burney was my all time favorite employer. I had the pleasure of working for him for about 12 years. He cared so deeply for all his staff and especially his patients. He was a great surgeon and a great man. My condolences to Ann, Jessica and Charles.

Dr Bob Burney performed two life-changing neurosurgeries on me in Wiesbaden Germany in 1971. The two operations were at that time a very unique skill of Bob - who I met on the golf course - and he actually diagnosed my condition [an acoustic neuroma] when we were playing golf! A great doctor and a great patriot who dedicated his life to the service of his country and the well being of his patients. I send my very best wishes and thoughts in his memory.Dan Gallington, Alexandria, Virginia

Dr. Burney was a great part of our family's life as he very skillfully took care of our mother. His name has come up in our conversations many times over the years since he performed surgery on her in 1978. So sorry to learn of the death of such a skilled physician. There are only a "few good men" who stand out above the rest and Dr. Burney was one of those.

I just want the family to know that he took very good care of me after I had been in a car wreck. My broken disc was about to cut my spinal cord. But he did an amazing job of repairing it. Never had any problems from it. It's amazing that I talk of him sometimes when I talk of my life. He called me squirrel because I was so small in frame. He said that it would be easy to operate on me. Y'all had a good one for sure. My condolence to the entire family.
