Dear Burtch Family,

Please accept our belated, yet deepest sympathies on the passing of this great man. We only met him once, camping at Alex Bay, but his memory will stay with us forever. Loved watching him be so lovingly tender with his wife & careful with Freckles (who came to visit us@ our encouragement). Had a couple of wonderful conversations about Alex Bay, Sport & Little Lehigh Islands & the serendipity of shared history. My grandmother was a maid to the Wilbur family...

Deepest sympathies to family. A good friend, classmate and great guy. Blessings to all the family. Great memories. Gary and Estella Wagoner

Bob, was one of my dad's friends, he always looked forward to seeing Bob and freckles, when he got out to take a short walk. He was a very nice man, and will be greatly missed.
Joe Chillemi.

Our family was most fortunate to know and love Captain Bob. He was the most caring and genuine man. What an honor to be in his presence. Bob will always be remembered for his goodness, tremendous abilities, great intelligence, melodious laughter and love of life. Rest in peace in heaven, my friend.

May Bob rest in peace. Bob was a good man! Sincerely Tony DeRose

I have very good memories of Bob and Nancy. Rest in peace my friend Barb prayers to the family.

Hi I know your dad from time he spent at the bagel shop in Oswego. Also spent time golfing with him. What a great guy. One of the things he always talked about was his son Bob, you could tell how proud he was of you. He was a great American and I looked up to him for his service to American. He is going to be missed by everyone.

Bob was always a kind man. Fun to be around and a great husband and dad. He’ll truly be missed by all that knew him.

What a most wonderful man. Hard worker, great father , caring husband. Always with an impish grin and a ready hand to help anyone in need!! Heaven gained one of the best. Rest well my friend.
