He was a great minister and pastor from my teenage years and throughout his life. He was always a bright spot in my return visits to GCPC.

Mr. Busey was one of those rare individuals whose values and integrity withstood the test of time. We looked up to him as an advocate for racial justice when we were teens. Then as adults we admired and were stimulated by his scholarship and friendship. It is a profound thing to know a person like Mr. Busey who was a consistent representative of the best in the Christian faith. Our tears are tears of appreciation.
