Not sure what to say?

I miss him.

Bob was my mentor and friend! I learned so much. I worked for him for 1 year and he for me for 8 years. He can not be replaced. He was the best.
Alfred Ellis DVM

Dr Bob was my hero for most of my childhood. My grandmother worked for him at "the Clinic" for 11 years. He would let me come to work with her and I was allowed to sit in the exam room as long as I was quiet. That was very hard for me, but I would do anything for my Uncle Dr Bob! He was such a loving, caring and compassionate man. He always encouraged my love of animals and let me help where I could. When Marci came back in to our lives, she became hero #2! To my dear Marci, I love you...

Bob was our family vet of many years and took in my beautiful male Doberman when his medicine was more than our young family could afford. He also tried to revive a beloved pet mouse of mine after it died just because that is who he was. Our family loved him very much and have so many memories of him over the years with our animals.
He went to school with my mother Ada Johnson Holmes and my father Richard Holmes. My Heart and prayers go out the the entire family, such a huge loss, God...

To the family, I am sorry to hear the news about your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1,2

My mom, Jay Henson, worked for Dr Bob for many years in El Paso. She always said that no one would ever be able to be the kind of Boss Dr Bob was because he didn't treat you as an employee he treated you like you were his family. He was more like my personal physician. He pierced my ears when I was about 6 hand stitched up my lip when I fell in the street and hit the bumper of a car. He always made my three brothers and I feel very special and always had a surprise for us whenever we were at...

Dr. Bob grew up with my mom in Ysleta and always took care of our dogs. I remember his red station wagon coming out to the farm late at night for a sick cow. He was such a blessing to all. He lived is life well.

He was a great guy and friend.

I was born and lived in the Ysleta area till I was a teenager. As a child, I remember the family I lived with would take their pets to the Animal Clinic. I remember how nice Dr. Butchofsky and staff were and how great he was with the animals. The family I lived with were also friends of the doctor. Many memories. My prayers and thoughts to the Butchofsky family. God Bless everyone.
