Mr. Butkus will always be considered a HERO for serving our country during a time when fighting for freedom was essential. You fought in a devastating and tragic war with honor. Thank you Sir for your bravery, courage and sacrifice. May God hold you in his loving arms. Rest in Peace.

Bob lived life on his own terms with dignity and bravery. I admired him greatly for that as well as for his intellect, courage and keen wit. He will sorely be missed. I won't be able to attend on 5/19, but I will most certainly be there in spirit to celebrate a life truly lived.
