“For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.” (Hebrews 6:10). Dr. Robert Butler will never be forgotten for all the work that was done for this scientific community and especially those encouraged and inspired in this persons' care. May God continue to strengthen the family and friends in these “times hard to deal with” (2 Tim 3:1), especially without a beloved one such as Dr. Robert...

Dear Chris and family,
We recently read about your father's passing with immense sadness.
Fond memories came back from some 50+ years ago when we all lived in and around New York City.
We celebrate the illustrious life and career of a caring human being, devoted father, and wonderful friend.
We will miss him.

I was so sad to read of Bob's death, and send my condolences to his family. He and my mother (Bernice Neugarten) were close friends and colleagues, and Bob became a personal friend to me as well. I remember his many witticisms and kind acts as well as his enormous contributions to the field. His passing is a loss to all of us who knew him.
