Butch was my neighbor. He was an anchor to the small community at the top of the hill. He always had a smile, and he would give anyone a hand. I barely moved in when a dead tree fell across the driveway after a storm, and he was out there within hours cutting it up and hauling it away. He was a businessman and living history.
