Not sure what to say?

Mary, Gaye and Ned. My heart is saddened by the passing of our wonderful neighbor "Good old Bob". I lived next door to them for close to 40 years. Just last summer I went to visit him and he knew me right down to the "peckin" order. I will miss seeing him in his white truck driving down our lane! Love to all of you...

Ned, Mary, Gaye, and families so sorry to hear about Bob. I remember him coming into Sterings when Oral and I were working and visiting with her. He was a good brother to sweet Oral. I was on a bowling league with your Mom and thought the world of her as well. May your memories of them bring you comfort at this time. You are all in my thought and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I so enjoyed visiting with him during the summer months, while sitting w/him in his yard. I will miss seeing him and hearing his stories of the 'old' Garden City and his opinions on the 'new' Garden City. He also had memories of my Dad, and their time together over the years. I did not know he had a Purple Heart - how wonderful! I'm so sorry for your loss and grief - indeed he will be missed!

All my love and condolences to you Ned Gaye and Mary. Bob was the best neighbor we could have asked for. Even after we had moved away he still knew us and would talk to us of days gone by. We could always count on his arm waving out the window to us when we were outside and he was driving up or down "the lane". Our family will miss him dearly. He is a wonderful man.
