Beloved husband of Clare (nee Budzilek); father of Dr. Eileen Callahan (Paul McMullen), Kathleen Callahan (Andrew Penn) and Patricia Callahan; grandfather of Kyle, Kiera, Sean, Cory and Rowan; brother of Patricia Jefferies. Went home to God Sept. 19, 2015. Funeral Mass Wednesday, Sept. 23, the Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10:00 AM. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS TUESDAY 5-8 PM.

Robert was a quiet man with a twinkle in his eye. He didn't say much but when he spoke it was profound. He was wise, knowledgeable and kind. We will miss him terribly at our cousin parties. He was a wonderful father and husband. He loved his wife Clare very much. He completed her life. May God bless you with a full measure of peace and with the assurance that you will see him again. Thank you Robert for lighting up our lives.
