When our daughter was bit by a dog and had great fear, Bob called us to visit his new puppies frequently so she would lose her fear. Later he gave her one of the puppies. He was so good with all ages. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Max and Joan Calhoun Venice, FL

My thoughts and prayer's go out to Mr. Callis' family, and friends. He was my Principle at Randles Elementary in the late 60's. I still remember when my sister and I missed the school bus he came and picked us up. What a caring and wonderful man he was. He will truly be missed.

Mr. Callis was a wonderful teacher at Freeman Elementary. He left a wonderful legacy about community and service. God bless him and family.

Mr. Callis was an amazing principal, and his care and concern for us students was obvious. I have many great memories of him and I know I'm not the only one. I'm sorry for your loss.
