To the family of Mike,
I had the pleasure of working with Mike for many years at the VA. He became my friend and I will surely miss him. I can share with you something I learned from Mike that I will keep with me forever.
He always bragged, (and possibly was right in doing so) that he made the best Ham n Bean soup. He taught me to eat it with a bite of freshly cut onion with each bite. It tasts so much better.

I knew your Mother. I love your sister like my own. Your nieces and nephews are among the most precious. Your (ex) brother-in-law was of my blood. I'm happy to have met you, and I am happy you are no longer longing for what you obtained. Hurt no more. Rest in peace.
