I'll always remember Bob as one of my most trusted mentors, in my early years at the Road Commission. Bob was a wealth of knowledge and history of the Washtenaw County Road System. Bob could relate to people from all backgrounds, and he had the patients of "Jobe" when it came to mentoring young surveyors, engineers, technicians and summer help.
