I'm still missing the big brother I never had and our strong friendship that endured always. I remember the daily phone conversations and the post-gig hangs at the Olympia Diner. Those were great times and great memories of a great friend. Bob was a tremendous source of encouragement that benefits me to this day. I'm grateful for Bob's influence on my life.

Michael & family ~ I had the honor of learning the Blues from your wonderful father during the mid-80s while attending Hall High School in West Hartford. He opened up a whole new world for me. I could tell he had a great passion for music and bestowing this love upon his students. I lost touch with him afterward and never had the chance to say thank you. I just learned of his passing, and want to pass along my sincere condolences to you. For the short time I knew him, I made a definite, indelible impact on my life.

The first time I met Bob was at UCONN. He was a student there and I was up there to play in a Conn Allstate Concert. I played with him on and off thru the years. He was always such a nice cat and a wonderful player. I will miss him much.

Michael
I hope you remember me as your 'wonderful' CCD teacher of 6 years! I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. You were a great child and I know he looks down on you with a smile. I think of you and our little class often and say a prayer. Please say 'hi' to mom. I will say extra prayers for you all at this time! With fond memories- Mrs O

So very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. We were all part of the Mainstreet "family" and spent much time together. He was so very talented and I am sure he is playing for the angels now. I will always think of him fondly. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Michael, Julie, and other family: I was devastated to learn we had lost Bob. Even though neither of us successfully sustained previous marriages, we remained good friends even after we were forced to separate. I have SO many images of our times together that have been flooding my soul since I learned his suffering had come to an end. There will never be anyone quite like him ranging from his wit, intelligence, charm to his unsurpassed playing. He was blessed with a wonderful son and family and truly loyal friends. May God welcome him Home and I hope our souls meet up again. Mike, I tried to find your phone number. Please call me. I'm still listed in Colchester. Will try to make visitation, but I no longer drive. You are in my prayers as you grieve over the best dad ever. Sherri Carabillo
