Love your neighbor as thyself! Thus, Millbank St. SE has lost another truely great and kind neighbor that has lived on Millbank Street for over 40 years! I'll miss you Bob, but will always remember your wit and kindness and the neighborly conversations we enjoyed in your home overlooking the Plaster Creek, where the deer and other creatures played. Go Wisconsin, Badgers! My sincerest condolences to The Carpenter Clan.

I always enjoyed having lunch with Bob. Even though it was 'once-a-year,' we always had time to catch up on each other's lives. What a true gentleman. Very, very interesting person. I always had a soft-spot in my heart for Bob. Hard to believe I met him over 35 years ago at WOOD AM/FM/TV. I will miss him. My sympathies to you, Cec, and the entire Carpenter family.
