Not sure what to say?

My wife and I loved Bob Carr. He was genuine, a mensch. We think of him often.

Bob's list of accomplishments is so impressive; what a contribution he made to the Ann Arbor and Chelsea communities! I remember him as a wonderful man - steady, fun-loving, and delightful to be with with. My heart goes out to you and your family, Liz.

Bob Carr was a stellar administrator and husband to Liz. I am very sorry for the family and wish you all healing thoughts. Miss him, and would love to connect with you Liz.

I remember this particular Bob Carr well and with many good memories...when west side Ann Arbor was troubled by Fractal Borders with Scio Township, the 6th Congressional District, and the County, I recall once when there were THREE Bob Carr's on the ballot at the same election...Congressman, Legislator, and I can't recall what THIS Bob Carr was running for, but it was a day to remember!...

Jim and I are deeply saddened by the news of Bob's death and send our heartfelt condolences to Liz and all of Bob's family. What a Grand Man! Handsome, Friendly, Wise and Dynamic. While lots of people admire and remember Bob as a Star Educator, we remember Bob as a Star Tennis Player, especially on Saturday mornings at the newly resurfaced Burns Park courts, which he loved. A friendly guy and a fierce competitor. So Many FUN times!
With all our love,

I am deeply saddened to learn that Bob is gone. He was such a wonderful, witty, wise and caring man! We met when my children were students at Newport and a couple years later he chose me to be a reading teacher at Logan. Bob was one of the best principals I have ever worked for! He trusted you to do your best for the children that were in trusted to you. Bob "guided' and encouraged but did not criticize his staff. He looked for the best in all and that's what he was rewarded with in return!...

As a former staff person at Huron Services for Youth, I remember Bob as kind and outgoing. He always had words of encouragement to us for the work we did.

Bob Carr was an amazing human being and educator. It was an honor to work for and with him. During my principal years, I would often ask myself, "What would Bob do?" One classy guy, who was able to see the big picture and always show appreciation to others along the way. And, actually it was the rest of us who so appreciated him! He made a difference...

I don't remember much about elementary school, but I do remember our kind principal at Newport. RIP Dr. Carr...
