Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Ellen,

With deepest sympathy, the passing of a loved one alters the fabric of our lives. But the wonderful contribution that dear one made to our life lives on forever, to strengthen and sustain us.

Mr. Carruthers was a very nice gentleman, I enjoyed the times we had just to sit and talk, and it was such a blessing. Even though we had only known each other for such a short time, he really touched my life.

Remembering you in this time of sorrow...

Aunt Ellen, You did such a wonderful job of giving Uncle Bob the kind of send off that he would have wanted, one of music and quiet dignity. Thank you for bringing him into our family. He will be missed. Love as always, Mary Lou

Aunt Ellen, I didn't really get a chance to talk to you these last couple of days.
I remember Uncle Bob every time I look at one of his joke books or hear a pun or play on words. I think that his second greatest love was words, so I will say goodbye to a gentleman and a gentle man.
Matt

We are sorry to learn of this and send our prayers to the family. We are Mary Lou & Matt's former neighbors in Colonie.

Ellen, My sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband. I'm presently in Florida and unable to attend the services. Both of you will be in my prayers. Mary Jane

In the two years I knew Bob he was a inspiration to me and his kind words made me feel good. My thoughts and prayers are with Ellen and the family.

Larry Baldwin

I'm so sorry for your loss.

My most sincere sympathy to Ellen and family. I am also a cousin. My father was Andrew Carruthers.

Dear Aunt Ellen,
With the holiday season here, I am reminded every time that I hear a Christmas song or hymn how much Uncle Bob loved this time of year.
That will be forever known as his passion, his legacy.
Please keep in mind that your family in Syracuse is just a phone call away.
My thoughts are with you and of you. Until we meet again, my love and my prayers I send to you.
