Not sure what to say?

So many years of memories of summers with your family in Waterford, on the lake and fun gatherings! The white-water raft trip for John Eatons birthday (70th maybe?)! That was a highlight! That is how we will remember Bob. Please know we are keeping your family in our thoughts.

Bob was the most gracious and kind man. He was also an incredibly loyal friend. He spent many many days having lunch with me. He forever remained devastated by the loss of his daughter, but he always smiled when he told me stories about her. Bob will forever be in my heart .

I first met Bob when Tony Wagner introduced me to him at my first Rotary Club meeting many years ago. We became fast friends. In later years I would pick Bob up and we would go to our weekly lunch get together at Rivalries. Often we would meet up with Tony Wagner, Dan Davidson, Paul Butler. We came to be known as the Old Farts Club. I will miss Bob and remember the good times we had together.
My sympathies to Penny and the family.

Hi Penny, Picture this. Portland Ice Arena. Betty Ann Balancing on skates. A Savior appears. It's Bob Carson, and we enjoy a whirl around the rink. Fond Memories

Bob was a special person and will certainly be missed. He was the person who officially introduced me to the Cape Elizabeth/South Portland Rotary Club some 40 years ago when I retired to Maine from the US Navy. We have been friends all that time, shared meals at Rotary meetings, and did projects together. I felt privileged to have been able to visit Bob occasionally in his later years at The Cedars. Thank you for your friendship, Bob.

Just wanted to say I had several occasions to enjoy the company of Bob Carson. He always impressed me as a good and gentle man. Condolence to Penny and his family at this difficult time.

Penny, Christian, and family, I'm so sorry to hear of Bob's death. I enjoyed knowing him way back when! He seemed like a great father to Christian and Cassandra when I babysat for them. Loved going to the Carsons' to watch those sweet kids! Take care, Penny. Nancy Agan
