Hard to imagine that Uncle Bob is gone. I enjoyed his Facebook updates with his latest incredible carvings. I remember enjoying visiting Aunt Aggie and Uncle Bob´s house in Sunnyvale, CA and playing shuffleboard. I have never known anybody who had a shuffleboard court at their house. Visiting family in Jacksonville, FL, as both Deb and Dine mentioned, watching Uncle Bob floating over the waves at Jacksonville beach without a care in the world other than to keep his hat from getting wet. So many happy memories - from meeting your funny comic family drawings to learning to play shuffleboard, but earliest memory is from a sunny summer day at Jacksonville Beach when you taught me how to get out past the Atlantic breakers safely - all while wearing your Pork Pie hat which never got wet! I will always remember so many good things about my Uncle Bob! He was talented, funny, kind hearted and the tallest man I´ve known! My favorite memory is at one of our fabulous Florida family reunions where he could so easily float backwards over the ocean waves before they broke, wearing his hat tilted over his face!
