Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking of Bob this morning and I´m sorry to see if he has passed almost a year ago. I knew him when he coached the Princeton as my dad was a recruiter of sorts in the Wilkes-Barre Scranton, Pennsylvania area. He was such a kind man to this young impressionable girl when I was in high school. He was such a thrill to know him and his kindness. On behalf of my dad, Andrew hourigan, I sent to you our gratitude and care he was very special to me

I was fortunate that Bob was my Coach at UConn my Senior year. He was an excellent coach, a gentleman and treated everyone with respect. He came back for our 50th Reunion of the 1971 team and was gracious in honoring all of us. God Bless you Coach and condolences and prayers to the family.

Just found this out. Sorry for your loss. Coach Cas was a very important part of my life while at UConn. He was a great coach and a great man.

Rest in peace, Coach. To Janet and the family, Susan and I offer our prayers and condolences. Coach Cas was a significant person in my life, first as a graduate assistant who offered amazing support to me as a player, and later to others he had coached. In my role as the head of Princeton Football Friends I got to watch his behavior when the ball didn't always bounce his way, but in the same process watched him support and develop the character of the many players he coached who...

I will always be grateful for having the opportunity to work for Bob at the National Football Foundation and the Play It Smart program. He was the always coaching you up, helping you believe in yourself, tackle challenges and achieve. His legacy through his efforts with the NFF and Play It Smart lives on in ways he may or may not have been fully aware of - thousands upon thousands of incredible young men and women have achieved, succeeded, and breathed a little easier in life, and continue to...

Almost everything good and important in my life, and the lives of so many others, would not have been possible if not for Coach Cas. He will be missed by so many, but there is joy in the realization that he had a remarkable life, full of great accomplishments, friends and people he inspired - - and still does. Rest in Peace, Coach.

Thoughts and prayers during your family's time of sorrow. Bob was beautiful soul. Glad we had the pleasure of meeting him.

Prayers for everyone as we lost a friend, leader and role model. May Bob Rest in Peace..

Bob, I treasured our friendship and the time we worked together at Dartmouth: you in FB, I in Bask. Post coaching, you had a very successful career in which you successfully spun many different platters. I was lucky to know you and always thought you were a great role model. Best to your family and friends. Simply put, you were a class act. RIP my friend. Gary Walters `67
