Not sure what to say?

He will be missed by all. R.I.P.

I had the honor of having Mr. Cashion as my principal in two capacities. I was a student at East Gantt from first to fifth grade and after becoming a teacher, I taught under Mr. Cashion for five years. He is an inspiration and he will be greatly missed.

The best teacher, mentor and friend anyone could wish for. We shall all miss him very much. I think he loved every student that entered his school, he knew everyone by name..that says a lot. May you and your family be at peace now.

I remember fondly how he gave me a hard time when interviewing me for my job because I was a beginning teacher and resumes were overflowing. I truly believe he just wanted to see if he could ruffle my feathers before offering me the job. Thank you Mr. Cashion for allowing me to work under your leadership with...

So very sorry to hear of his passing. The world has lost a great educator and a wonderful mentor and compassionate and caring person. He will be greatly missed. He was my principal many years ago and I have thought fond memories if him many times over the past 35 years.

One of those souls with whom you could bond at first meeting. A rare gift among men.
