Not sure what to say?

I'm James Chappelear's father and I wanted to share a story that exemplifies the amazing person that Bob was. My daughter Emily and I were invited to three Caskey family events over the 2021-2022 holiday season. During the Thanksgiving event after Emily and I had already selected a couple of dinner spots at a table in the basement, Bob asked if we (as new guests to these great events) would join him at the main table in the dining room. I, being new to these events did not realize the honor...

So sorry for your loss, when we first came to Dayton you guys were great. I will always be thankful for your hospitality and how you welcomed me. We will keep you in our prayers.

We "grew up" across the street from the Caskey's. Mr. C was one of a kind! Super smart; loved his lawn (lol) his cars and his family. His nicknames for everyone were epic! We grew up across the street from the Caskey family from the early 70 s to the mid 80 s. My brothers and sister grew up with Tina, Terri, Laurie and Bobby. GREAT FAMILY! We loved hearing Mr. Caskey practice his Steele guitar in the garage on weekend nights. He was very approachable, funny and simply a reall good person, as is the whole family! Playing music for the heavens now. REST IN PEACE MR C!

wish i could be there in person, aunt pat and kids. sorry for your loss,my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have many fond memories of Bob and the times he mentored me as I was starting with Xerox. I always appreciated his ability to be a friend and a teacher at the same time. I always missed him after he left Xerox and always asked Bob Jr. about him every time I saw him. I'm sure he will be missed by his family and friends. I offer my condolences to all of them.

Very Sad to hear, Bob was one of a kind not someone anyone could ever forget! thoughts and Prayers go out to his Family
