Having moved to Tennessee in 2006, I was out of touch with a lot of people/things and only recently learned of Bobby's passing. We were in the band together, but also the freshmen football team. My two biggest memories: football practice, and Bobby was considering quiting, thinking it too tough. I convinced him it was worth it and talked him out of it. Years later he thanked me for that day. The other memory...he once told me he didnt care for the nickname Bubba. I called him Bobby ever...
