Such a WONDERFUL person and SUPERB ER Physician. I will always remember his smile, cheerfulness, and his red NIKE tennis shoes. Thanks for the GREAT care you gave to all of your patients. Especially, my Grandparents when they were your patients.

Proud to have known such a successful individual. Dr. Bob Cavens was the epitome of a self-made professional. Chairman of the MCH Emergency Department in its glory days - he was a dedicated and very talented physician, leader, scholar, and human being.

My sincere condolences to Paula Cavens and family on the passing of doc.I worked with him from the early days of community to the 90's. He was a mentor a friend a commerade and my brother.When he would say to a patient "How can I help you"? He ment what he said.He invested in people and touched many lives. You will be missed.

Dr. Caverns was one of the best emergency room Drs' at Community Hospital. He was kind and respected all. The first time I had raspberry chocolate cake was at one of his Fridays ER get together. The family has my condolences.
