Just found this but wanted the family to know I was thinking of them. Love and prayers to all.

Coach Cawley recruited me to play basketball at Urbana University. I graduated in June 1986. He was always there for me at all times. He made a huge difference in my life as a father figure, mentor, and role model. I Thank him constantly and I truly appreciated him being a part of my life.

I worked alongside Bob in the Education department at UU. He was always kind, gentle, and encouraging. What a legacy. Blessings to your family as you reflect and grieve this loss. May you be drawn to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ because of this life well lived.

I had the privilege of playing basketball for Coach Cawley at Urbana University in the early eighties he was such a nice man and would help you with anything, he would always send me and family a Christmas Card each year. Rest in Peace Coach C. You will be missed.
