Not sure what to say?

Dear Vicki -
I don't know if you still receive these or read these messages, but I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's death just today - nearly six months after the fact! I just can't imagine why this news didn't make it to either the Oregon Funeral Directors Association or the Cemetery Association of Oregon, so that it would get distributed to members, but somehow it didn't, so no one in the industry seems to have known. I just today heard the news from Ralph Scholtz who had...

What a great man. Bob truly lived life to its fullest and helped those around him to, as well. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to know him. One my favorite memories of Bob are the dinners that he shared regularly with Johanna, always at a new hip restaurant of his choosing. He shared such a special bond with both Johanna and Jen and the rest of his family and always prioritized them above all else. He will be missed by many, and my heart goes out to you, Vicky, Johanna, Jen and...

• I recall the warm summer afternoons when Bob, Jennifer and Joanna would roar up Westview Court in his bright red Porsche, stopping to pick up Heidi so the four of them could head off to the ice cream store for a cone. This was accompanied by high pitched screams as the girls anticipated the treats that awaited them. I don't know if it was the car...

I shut my eyes and see Bob in his red sweater!!! My thoughts and prayers to you all. I am sorry that Jim and I and I will not be there on Saturday to give you, Johanna and Jennifer hugs!

We have considered Bob Cena and his family among our closest friends and neighbors for more than 36 years. We have shared countless good times including ski vacations, gourmet club dinners, football games, birthday celebrations and more. We always enjoyed Bob's quick wit and infectious laugh; he was a gracious host and was always a most welcome guest in our home. Bob's love of life was an inspiration to us and our family, and he will remain a valued friend in our lives. We love you and...

Thoughts and prayers are sent from Japan for Vicki, Jen and Johanna and their families. I know that you are all loved and supported by wonderful friends who will be there with you. I'm there in spirit!
Blessings and love,
Carole Sawyer

Such great memories of a super neighbor! Vicki, Jennifer, and Johanna-our thoughts and prayers are with you. Maybe he will get another "Rat Pak" group together in his new surroundings. We know it's been many years, but we will never forget the fun & great memories we cherish. Love to all of you, Sydney, Jim, & Jennifer

Peace 2 U

Our dear Vicki, Johanna, Jen and your beautiful families. We are very saddened by this loss for each of you. We are grateful and honored to have known Bob and to have shared so many special and fun memories.
