Robert M. Cesanek Sr., 77 of Bath, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 17th, 2017 surrounded by his devoted wife and family. He was the husband of Jeanette (Fota) Cesanek. They celebrated 56 years of marriage on July 2nd, 2016. Born October 12th, 1939 in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Emil and Anna (Bobyak) Cesanek Sr. He was a member of St. Peter Church. Robert worked as a contractor for over 30 years and owned his own business, "Robert Cesanek Construction". He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in the Pocono Mountains. When he could no longer hunt, he enjoyed watching the bear and deer come to the feeders. He will always be remembered as a kind, loving and devoted person. Survivors: Loving wife, Jeanette; daughters, Debbie Cesanek-Nothstein, wife of Lance and Susan Koren, wife of Gregory; sons Robert Jr. and wife Staci, Richard and wife Debbie, Kevin and wife Bekky; daughter-in-law Jody; 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandson and expected great granddaughter; brothers, Jim, John and Emil; and sister June. Robert was predeceased by a son Michael. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23rd at 10am at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 South 5th Street, Coplay. Family and friends may call Wednesday 6:00 - 8:00pm and Thursday 8:15 - 9:15am in the Reichal Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery.
