So nice to read your recent message, Terry. It was wonderful to see the pictures of your father once again (I am always struck by how handsome he was). Dad, we sure miss you. Christmas won't be the same this year without your smile lighting up the room and making us feel blessed that we could spend time with you. You made Christmas extra special and we're so grateful for all the time we got to spend together during the holidays: The music! The Christmas cookies! Going to see all the lights, especially the tall trees with all the lights in San Marino.

I miss visiting Grandpa and sitting with him listening to music. We'd often sit in the living room or in his room, where I'd bring him some sort of chocolate dessert (his favorite), and we'd turn on some Frank Sinatra or Johnny Cash and of course, Willie Nelson. He'd always have that on in his car, usually singing along when he lived down at Dana Point, after a long walk on the beach late in the afternoon.
