To Bob's wonderful family,
In the Bible, mourners were to be approached in silence. The friends were to sit as long as it took for the person who lost their loved one to speak first.. I can't imagine the depth of the pain of your loss, nor wish to give advice or words of support which most likely would fire the flame of your anguish more than anything else. So for now I offer you all my silence in spirit..

But in memory of Bob I will write you this...
Bob and I worked and lived...

So many years have passed from the "Good 'old St. Mary's Days". My son Richy Cazin was a great friend of Bob. The *friendship they all shared was so very special and has left a mark forever in South Tampa and St. Mary's School. (*The great St. Mary's Cool Guys) These friendships have been kept alive for over 35 years and for sure never to end... until.
Bob's parents I knew as wonderful people and parents. I know this loss is devastating to you both. I only pray that God will allow...

Dr Chambliss - I wish you comfort in such a difficult time. I know you are a wonderful caring person so I am sure your son was as well.
May he rest in peace.

I can't imagine how difficult a time this is for Bob's family and friends, who are huge in number. I was friends with Bob in high school and he was always such a gentle soul who appreciated and accepted everyone, as everyone loved him. Such a kind, good person. At least now the suffering for him is over and hopefully for everyone else, great memories of a great person will continue. With much sympathy and love.

Dear Chambliss Family,
I am one of many of Bob's friends who had the pleasure of being a part of his life. From St. Mary's to California, my memories of Bob are very special. His warmth and graciousness were abundant, his strength uncomparable. I feel lucky to have spent some quality time with Bob in California. We even got to surf a few times together. His passion for the waves, and more important Life was obvious. A hard core football player in highschool who turned Surfer! I love it. I...

Dear Chambliss Family, My remembrance of Bob is his smile in almost any circumstance- He was just always a positive guy, whose easy going demeanor was infectious. I had the pleasure of spending three years with him at Vanderbilt and he was unique- always did his own thing in a way that was respected by everyone. I pray he is in a place where I will meet him again and lock arms again as brothers. I regret I cannot make his memorial. He was loved by many and will be missed as you well know....

Dear Judy and Flake, My heart aches for you at this time. Losing a child is tough. I am so sorry for all of you. His Bio sounds as though he packed a lot of life into every moment. Take care and know that you will be in our prayers. I wish I could come to the service on Friday but previous committments are on the books and cannot change. Thinking of you and praying for strength.

I met Bob in 6th grade and I'll never forget riding my Mongoose to his house as a kid and listening to Van Halen, Rush and Led Zeppelin at full-volume for the first time on his huge stereo speakers.
