Dear Carol and Family,

I am deeply saddend to hear of Bob's passing. He was one of my very favorite people, the brightest and the best. Bob is what all veterinarians (as well as all human beings) should aspire to be, a gifted and extremely generous man. A person of great love and empathy, not to mention a stellar sense of humor. We are so very sorry to read of "Dr. Bob's" passing today in the newspaper. My daughter, Nicole, just adored him when she volunteered at the Humane Society last year. Please accept our sincere condolences. Our hearts go out to the family.
