Dr. Robert and Elizabeth Charpie touched our family and daughter, Megan, in many ways. As a Charpie Scholar, Megan was able to fulfill her dreams at CMU due to their generosity and care for student scholars. We remember receiving word about Megan being the first Charpie Scholar at CMU, and tears of joy came immediately to our eyes.
