Robert Gabriel Chopp

We bought pasties from Bob for years before he sold his shop, as my husband was also from the Laurium-Lake Linden, Michigan area. Our children loved to go into the shop for the "goodies" Bob gave them. He will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with his family.

Bob was an absolute delight! I bought pasties from him for years and didn't realize he won the Gipp award or so many of his accomplishments! Like many Yoopers, he was a humble man, with a big smile, and always made me feel like a million bucks when I stopped in to purchase goods! We always had something to visit about since we came from the Keweenaw. Laughter was always part of the visit! My sympathies are with you. We are all blessed that he touched our lives!
