Robert Christie

I enjoyed his classes in high school and the conversations we had after I graduated and saw him when we were both out and about. He'd remember my sisters' and mother's name and ask to be remembered to them. My condolences to the family and friends.

Mr Christie and Ms. Creegan. I wrote my first research paper for them, about African American soldiers during the Civil War, and I still have it. He was a fantastic teacher. Gratitude for his influence on my path. Condolences.

May God give your family His peace as you grieve the loss of Bob - it was a distinct pleasure to have known him as we participated together in the Portage Senior Center choir for several years. His smile and positive outlook were heart-warming.

Bob and his granddaughter Bethany spoke up front one of my first Sundays at Chapel Hill in 2013. He and his whole family have been a blessing to my and my daughter's life. There aren't enough kind words for this gentle, beautiful soul. Abbi loved hugs from Papa Bob.

Mr Christie was absolutely my favorite teacher in high school at VHS. His kindness towards students will never be forgotten. He was able to keep his students engaged into learning. He will never be forgotten. Sending blessings to his family.
