Bob will dearly be missed. He was a dear friend of mine for many years. I know that his reunion with his daughter was a true celebration. Prayers to Bob's family.

Bob and I met at Stephen F. Austin State University after our stints in the Marine Corps. We were both from small towns in Texas and in Marine Corps Detachments aboard different ships during the Vietnam war. Having so much in common, we immediately became friends, and later, off-campus roommates in college. I remember Bobby as a good, tough, straight shooter, and a friend I knew that I could count on. Bob (Robert) was a very special friend. He was an angel here on earth and now he will be our "Guardian Angel". Bob was an extremely remarkable man. May God be with his family and frends as they journey through this time of grief.
