LANCASTER

Robert J. Clark, 72, of 41 Bigelow Gardens, formerly of Mill St., died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, in his home, surrounded by his loving family, after an illness.

He leaves his wife, Judith M. (Ranieri) Clark, with whom he would have celebrated 37 years of marriage on November 8th; their family: Stacey & Peter McGown, Paul LaBrack, Darcy LaBrack, Kevin Clark, Kristen & Dave Beckwith, and Cheryl Stall; sister-in-law Barbara Ranieri and her husband, Tim Lynch; grandchildren: Jeff, Erin & Emily McGown, Brandy Wells, Michael, Ryan & Matthew Grady, Victoria LaBrack-Maddocks, Samantha & Matthew Clark, Nolan & Cameron Beckwith, and Ryan Stall; great-grandchildren Brandon, Abby & Carter; and countless family and friends, for whom "Clarkie" and family are eternally grateful.

Born and raised in Worcester, he was the son of James E. and Alice G. (Keevan) Clark. He attended local schools and was a US Army Veteran.

He was a member of the Clinton Turn Verein, Polish American Veterans, the Clinton Lodge of Elks, and was a devoted NY Jets fan.

Clarkie's funeral will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. For those who wish, the family suggests that donations in memory of Clarkie be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, online at www.wish.org, or by mail: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts & Rhode Island, 181 Park Ave., Suite 112, West Springfield, MA 01089, or a charity of one's choice.
