Not sure what to say?

So many good memories, some full of humour. A great friend. My thoughts are with his partner Jimmy. It must be very difficult for him at this time.

My condolences to the family. An incredibly well-read and erudite man who showed quiet kindnesses to many without any kind of flashy front. As an editor, but an engineer, I enjoyed his jovial put-downs of my confused English from my times on both sides of The Atlantic. A mighty life and my pleasure to have enjoyed just a little corner of it.

From all of us across the pond on Big Dave's crossword blog in the UK. We will always remember with affection Robert's erudition, wit, good sense and kind comments. A great loss to us all.

The impact he had on so many lives is his legacy! He supported, challenged, and made his students rise to a greater level. We all thank-you for caring about our futures!

Bob Clark was a longtime valued colleague and friend! He enriched thousands of student lives over the years.

Cindy, With such sadness I send my heartfelt sorrow for your loss. I think of you often and I'll continue to keep each of you in my prayers. Love always
