I was at a breakfast meeting with some old friends recently and Bob's name came up. We spoke of the good times we had and some of the crazy things we used to do. I definitely regret that I lost touch with Bob. He was a great friend and a lot of fun to hang with.

Bob and I were close. I wish we had stayed in contact after the Army and Consumers. After me moved south we lost contact.

It is hard to believe it is two weeks today since we said good-bye. I know in the weeks and months ahead the tears will turn to smiles and the memories of better times will replace those of recent times. You left us with the memory of a man who was not only very proud of his family, his legacy. But, also a man, who believed in living life to the fullest and always finding the silver lining in the darkest of times.

Bob, I will miss the many hours that we spent on the golf course, breaking bread and sharing a libation or two. You are a great friend and I am a better person for know you. God bless!!!

Bob was my friend in the 5th and 6th grade at Sharp Park School in Jackson, Michigan. I remember spending the night at his home, and we played in the creek that ran next to it in Vandercook, Mi. It was the white house on the left next to the bridge as you entered Vandercook. I knew Bob from Kindergarten through Junior High at Frost Jr. High., . He was a great friend back then and I lost touch with him over the years.

Bob was a sweet man. There was a humble confidence about him. He came into my life, like an angel, right when I needed him. I told him many times that "he was my angel on earth", and now... he is an angel in heaven. It is impossible to put into words how I truly feel, but above all, I want you to know, that I loved him and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
