Not sure what to say?

My love and appreciation of music is so much deeper thanks to this man. Thank you so much!

I was in Bob’s choir at Lincoln High School and was in Oklahoma in 1975. He always had a smile for anyone willing to chat. I wish I had gotten to see him. He let me sing in his church’s choir, and I was Catholic! He had a great sense of humor and a great voice. I am proud to have known this great man!

I'll always remember how Mr. Cleworth enjoyed rehearsing our boys' contingent (Orpheous Club) of his vocal program at Lincoln High. He seemed to thrill as much in hearing our rendition of "You'll Come a Waltzing Matilda With Me" as we boys enjoyed singing it!

Robert Cleworth was my choir director during my high school years and his leadership in directing the shows assisted me greatly in gaining confidence that assisted me in my successful business career. I took advantage of an opportunity a few years ago to have coffee with him while we were visiting the city and thanked him for his leadership. He will be missed.

Jane, Deb and family of Robert Cleworth: my deepest sympathies go out to you. Bob was such a wonderful man as well you know. He always had a smile on his face and he is going to be missed. I can see him already directing the choir of angels up in heaven--cracking a few jokes there too! He lived a long life and I am sure he created many memories with you which you will hold dear in your hearts. Perhaps those are not stars in the nights sky above but passages for our loved ones to shine...

What a wonderful long life he enjoyed...One of my favorite teachers at LHS...Loved being in his choir and singing in Belle Cantos. He was a kind and gentle and thoughtful man.Condolences to his family.

Barbara, John and Families, We are sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. His legacy is tremendous in this town because of his many years of teaching multiple generations more than music. May God be with you now and always.

So sorry to read this....I'm so glad I was able to have coffee with Mr. Cleworth the last time I was in Wisconsin Rapids. A great singer, teacher, and a man of boundless energy. He touched many lives and for that we are all grateful.
