Robert C. Cloyed, age 90 of Omaha, died Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Omaha. He was born June 21, 1924 in Kansas City, MO to Harold and Hazel (Baldwin) Cloyed. Robert was a World War II survivor. He had been living at the Grand Island Veteran’s Home. Robert is survived by daughter and son-in-law Linda and Mark Vacek of Plattsmouth; grandchildren Robert and Michele Quinn, Stacy Thorne, Kellie Zimarick, Michael and Lora Orme; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Hazel Cloyed; sister Kathryn Krejci; brothers Herb and Donald Cloyed; daughter and son-in-law Diane and William McGinn; and wife Florence Cloyed.
