Robert Vernon "Bob" Cole

A year goes by so fast! Just like the time passed since we first hunted elk together in 1969 on Nasty Creek Flats and continued the tradition for over 50 years with some great members and memories of time in camp. I first met Bob in 1968 when my son Brian was born. We hit it off right away and over the years a strong friendship grew. We both loved to hunt and in 1969 we were joined by Ike Ransford and Jack Woodward to establish an elk hunting camp on Nasty Creek Flats west of Yakima, AKA "The Tin Camp".
