I was so saddened to see Bobby had passed as he and Tommy were my boyhood friends in Summerdale, Pa. that I loved so much. His life as a scientist and runner mirror my own life. My condolences go out to all his family. Jack Holmes

Bob Coleman was the finest man I have ever known. A dear friend for over half a century. He was a man of integrity, with a brilliant mind, who was humble about his accomplishments. Bob loved his family deeply, and spoke lovingly about them to me every time we talked. Bob had a great sense of humor, and our conversations---whether in person, over the phone or in exchanges of written correspondence, often left me teary-eyed from laughter. We sold Bibles, door-to-door in southwest Arkansas...
