Not sure what to say?

To The Coney family;
My hearfelt condolences to the family. I've known Mr. Coney all my life, not only as a sunday school teacher, but as Superintendent. He was also good friends with my dad, and especially my Uncle Johnny, as they would sing together, and do things together at the church. I'll always remember the SS classes, the discussions we would have, and the many vacation bible schools he would do. Pearl, know that the Lord gave you a special treasure in Mr. Coney, and he has left...

To the Robert Coney Family,

I have known Mr. Coney for as long as I can remember (35+yrs) a great neighbor to my grand parents on Aitken Street.

I am sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. May the peace of our Lord comfort you during this time.

Sincerely,

Monica McBride
(Grand daughter of the Late Calvin and Queen Matthews)

I was saddened to read of Mr. Coney's passing, but rejoice in the knowledge that he has gone from labor to rest. Mr. Coney was a very special man to the Flint community, and always a bright light in your day. You have my deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow.

I will dearly miss my Uncle Bob. Although he never had natural children of his own, we his nieces and nephews were taken under his wings. We will never forget how stylish, hip and classy he was. Especially being driven to summer bible school and holding on for what we thought as children, dear life :) You are so very much missed, we love you.
