Bob was a friend of my mom's, Sue Sprague, from Grosse Pointe, MI, and thru their friendship he sponsored me in 1997 to be a member of Egypt Valley Country Club, where we've been members ever since. Always a joy when we played a few rounds together or just talked on the driving range. What a great golfer, and more importantly a greater man.

I got to know Bob as a fellow board member during the transition from Green Ridge CC to Egypt Valley CC. What a wonderful gentleman! I had the pleasure of visiting Bob and Sue in their Tucson home several times. I miss them both. Condolences to the family. They were both special people.
