Two years have gone by, three since Uncle Bob´s brother Francis died... it doesn´t seem possible. Every word I wrote on behalf of our family two years ago remains true. As his nephew and on behalf of my siblings I can attest to the fact that Robert Thomas Connolly was the best, a great man and a great cop who followed in his grandfather Joseph Vincent Connolly´s footsteps. Bob was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. My heart aches for the Connolly family and all of Bob`s friends. I know he is celebrating with Judy and the kids while looking after each of you as your own personal Guardian angel. You are all in my prayers. God bless you all

We all grew up together in Southlawn and share many unforgettable memories. We remained friends throughout the years. Hearing of Bob's passing was indeed a shock! His kindness and unselfishness were never hidden from anyone. We were all blessed to have been a part of his life! xox

Bob was a good man. He cared about the people of Milwaukee. He was a conscientious and dedicated police officer.
