Our family grew up with the Conovers and our parents were friends. Both sets of parents resided at Village at Skyline for a time and had book discussions and enjoyed dining together. Bob was the Chief Engineer at Timken Rock Bit where I started as a young Engineering Draftsman & worked with him for many years. He was a boss plus a good friend to me & my family. I have a lot of memories of the work we accomplished & of the personal times we shared at & away from work. LHe had a special smile & look in his eyes that I will always remember. Bob was my 1st cousin and a whole generation older than me. Bob, and his brother Ken (Kenneth Alvin Conover) grew up on the farm that was established in 1822 by our Great, Great Grandfather William Conover (aka William Covenhoven). My father (Howard) also grew up on the same farm and spent a lot of time at "the farm" during Bob and Ken's early years.
