Robert (Bob) Conrad, 62, resided in Venice FL, but was world-traveler. Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend - who leaves behind unbelievable memories of special times spent together. He passed away peacefully at home. Bob is survived by his wife, Denise; his son Kanoa Wegesend, and his beloved dogs - Rama, I'kaika, and Luna. He is also survived by his father, Robert J. Conrad (WA); sister Mary Monica Schuller (CA); and brothers, Charles Conrad (WA), and Greg Conrad (KY). Bob retired from Continental Airlines in 2007, after 37 years of exemplary service. Captain Robert Conrad accumulated over 25,000 flying hours taking him to numerous locations all over the world - and has flown the Boeing 747, Boeing 727, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, and Boeing 777. Toward the end of his distinguished aviation career, he was the youngest captain on the pilot seniority list. His well-earned retirement afforded Captain Conrad the opportunity to spend quality time with his wife and family, and to enjoy his favorite hobbies of golf, fishing, and especially riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
