Not sure what to say?

Dear Robby, Lisa, John and kids,

It is with a heavy heart I write this short note to let you know how special Uncle Bob was and how much he meant to me. He always was so real. Never put on airs or tried to act anyway other way but his natural self. I loved that "self". I loved your whole family and I will always hold the many wonderful memories close to my heart so even when my mind won't remember, my heart will.

Never will a Fourth of July go by but what I will remember...

Mr. Cook captured my attention and heart. He was always very thoughtful and gracious to me. It brought me such joy to take care of him and do whatever I could for him. He was always very welcoming when I came to see him and he would never let me leave without a bag of lemons. His neverending energy was an inspiration to me. Robby & Lisa, you are in my thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow.

Uncle Bob…… how we are going to miss you. Always a friend, beloved Uncle and Grand Uncle. I loved being able to talk with you and say “goodnight” on Sundays before Aunt Margie and I would settle in for our Sunday night phone chats. I was only 5 when Auntie brought you home for your wedding reception and I thought you were the most handsome man I had ever seen. Tall, tan, and looking fine in your Air Force “blues”. Those early impressions must have stuck since I ended up marrying a guy a...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Bob. He was always there with a cheerful, "whats happening". He never said NO to anyone who needed a helping hand. He was a very generous man filled with love. We spent many wonderful times together with our family and Uncle Bob's. It may just be camping/fishing just hanging out visiting. Many BBQ's were shared at both of our homes. He loved to come to the houseboat and fish the weekend away. Sometimes us girls and smaller children would just take...

Lisa, Robby and Family,
I to will always remember the nights we would come down and spend the nights there. Uncle Bob would tell us kids it's time to hit the sack and my brother would run and hit the trash bag, and say I hit the sack Uncle Bob. Now Auntie Marge and him are together once again this time forever. Love you all, and you are in our Prayers.
Love, Barbara and LeRoy

Uncle Bob was a very special man. He was one of a kind. He was a "Good Ole Boy" as Woody would say. He will be missed by all of us. He had a good life and was a very lucky man to have two wonderful children taking such good care of him. Lisa and Robby, you guys have been so great with both of your parents. They were both blessed to have so much love and care given to them by yourselves throughout all the days of their lives.

When I was a little girl and I would spend the night...

Dear Family,

Your parents became very close family friends many years ago. They were both very special people and meant a lot to our family. May you all have peace in knowing that they are both together again for all eternity. Hold your memories deep in your heart and keep their memories alive and well for the grandchildren. God Bless
