Mr. Corey in 5th grade and Coach Corey in 12th! He was the most influential teacher of my life. I don't recall anything specific from 5th grade, but I know I got my tendency for doing funny voices from him. Will always remember Mr. Corey. RIP

Oh My Bob!! The lives you touched and helped since the days at EOSC. That's what good people like you can and do when like you they choose to be teachers and coaches. Another past EOSC person told me of your passing. My condolences to your family. May your spirit walk the halls of Beaverton Schools!

Mr. Corey was one of my favorite teachers. I had him for 6th grade at Fir Grove, and have never forgotten the humor and crazy experiments he injected into learning. He certainly inspired my curiosity, and helped me enjoy school during a rough adolescent year.

My condolences to the Corey family. Bob was my sixth grade teacher at Raleigh Park in the 70's. He was the most influential teacher I have ever had and I will remember him for the rest of my life. What a great man.

I spent years half-heartedly trying to find Mr. Corey (turns out, there are a lot of Bob Corey's out there!) to thank him for all that he did for me as a young student. I wish I had. Every day I'd arrive early to school and Mr. Corey (my 6th grade teacher at Fir Grove) would devote time to making sure I understood so many subjects that were difficult for me.
